Experts say that eating bitter foods like Bitter Gaurd is best for diabetes. Many people refuse to eat BitterGaurd. Because of its bitterness, we do not eat it as it is not palatable to the tongue. Consuming Bitter Gaurd regularly is healthy. Here are some recipes to make it tastier than the regular Bitter Gaurd recipe.

1.Bitter Guard Cutlet:

Ingredients needed to make Bitter Guard cutlets,

Bitter gourd – 2

Grated carrot – 1/2 cup

Boiled and peeled potatoes – 2

Boiled green peas – 2 tbsp

Slice of wheat bread – 2

Salt as required

Amsoor powder – 1 tbsp

Coriander powder – 1 tbsp

Red Chilli Powder – 1/4 tsp

Chopped coriander leaves – 1 tbsp

Chopped mint leaves – 1 tbsp

Oil – 2 tbsp

1. Wash the Bitter Gaurd and cut it in half and remove the seeds from it. Then cut the Bitter Gaurd and take it in a bowl. Add salt to the Bitter Gaurd and keep it aside for 5 minutes. Meanwhile take grated carrot and mashed potato in a bowl.

2. After 5 minutes, remove the water from the Bitter Gaurd pot and add the grated carrots and mashed potatoes. Add green peas, coriander powder, amsoor powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix well.

3. Next, add chopped coriander leaves, wheat bread and mix everything well. Make balls from the cutlet mixture. Pour oil in a pan and flatten the cutlet ball and put it in oil on medium heat. Healthy and nutritious Bitter Gaurd cutlets are ready. Serve with chutney.

Sweet Cantaloupe Recipe

2 Bitter Gaurd

2 green apples

1 cucumber

1 teaspoon lemon juice

4 ice cubes

Salt

Peel the skin of the Bitter Guard and scoop out the white pulp inside with a spoon. Finely chop.

Soak the chopped Bitter Guard in a bowl with salt and lemon juice for a few minutes.

Then put it in a mixer and grind it with water, apple, cucumber and lemon juice. Then filter and add ice cubes to the mixer and grind it.

Healthy and refreshing Bitter Guard green apple delight is ready.

3. Bitter Guard Celery Soup

Bitter Guard -3

Onion – 2

Tomato – 2

Celery – 1

Chickpeas – 25 grams

Pepper powder – 2 tbsp

Rock salt as needed

Oil – 1 tbsp

Water as needed

Coriander leaves

recipe:

Chop the Bitter Guard, onion, tomato and grind it into a powder along with the chickpeas.

Then pour oil in a pan, add Bitter Guard, tomato, celery and onion and fry for a while on medium flame.

Add required amount of water, saute the vegetables well and cool them down in a mixer.

Then strain it, sprinkle some rock salt, pepper and add coriander leaves to the soup and drink it. 

Delicious Bitter Guard hot soup is ready.
